It protects the yurt from heat and cold; specifications: thickness of about 15 mm; weight of 2 kg/m2. After that, the outside fabric—which may be either white or green solid cotton impregnated canvas and is limitedly waterproof/breathable and comes with or without designs in various colors—is another crucial component of the yurt.
